Conor Foley, Chief Executive Officer

Conor is co-founder and Chief Executive of WorldSpreads Group. Prior to establishing WorldSpreads he had 11 years of experience in the financial services sector. Conor has a Masters Degree (M.A.) in Economics from University College, Dublin. He was Chief Dealer with Smurfit Paribas Bank from 1995-1998 (having joined the bank in 1989) with overall responsibility for the risk management of the bank's foreign exchange. He has twice been shortlisted by Ernst & Young for Entrepreneur Of The Year in Ireland.

Brian O’Neill, Chief Operations Officer

Brian is also a co-founder of the Group and had 12 years experience in investments and treasury with various financial institutions in Dublin prior to establishing WorldSpreads.  He was responsible for both the currency management and interest rate management of the sizeable liabilities of the Insurance Corporation of Ireland, from 1990 to 1995. He moved to Irish Life Investment Managers in 1995, where among other tasks, he researched and set up benchmarks for the quality and efficiency of trading.  Brian is a finance graduate from University College Limerick.

Lindsay McNeile, Executive Director

Lindsay has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2002 and will become Chairman on Admission. He was a co-founder of Sporting Index, the sports spread betting company. From 1992 to his departure in 2001, he was responsible for all aspects of management, the establishment of the "Financial Spreads", "Sporting Odds" and "Tote/Sporting Index" brands, and held a number of positions including Finance, Compliance and Managing Director. Subsequently, Lindsay was Finance Director for Kiotech International plc from 2001 to 2004 where he prepared the business for refinancing and promotion from OFEX to AIM, and Managing Director of Global Currencies Limited, a London based company specialising in trading emerging market currencies and financial instruments from 2004 to 2005.

Niall O’Kelly, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Niall O’Kelly qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1993.  In 1994 he joined Trinity Biotech plc, a NASDAQ and Irish Stock Exchange listed company, as Group Financial Controller. During this time he was very actively involved in the corporate finance side of the business and worked a number of fundraisings, acquisitions and the entry to the Irish Stock Exchange.  Following his departure from Trinity Biotech, Niall joined an emerging technology Company, Magnetic Solutions, as CFO, before joining WorldSpreads in 2004.

Michael Foley, Director of Business Development

One of the original founders of WorldSpreads, Michael is responsible for the development of WorldSpreads Irish business and emerging European markets. Michael previously worked with Trinity Biotech Plc, from 1994–2000 and holds a BSC in Financial Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin.

David Lynch, Senior Dealer WorldSpreads Ireland

David joined WorldSpreads in 2005 as a senior trader specialising in US markets.  Before joining WorldSpreads, David spent 10 years in the United States both as a trader and market maker in US equities and derivative products.  Prior to that, David worked for NCB Stockbrokers in Ireland as a Sales Trader, gaining experience in European equities and currency trading.  David holds a BBS honours degree from Trinity College Dublin.

Fergus Rice, Desk Manager Worldspreads Ireland

Fergus has been involved with the WorldSpreads Group since its foundation in 2000. He is a graduate of University College Dublin and holds an honours degree in Economics. Prior to Worldspreads Fergus ran a successful property investment company. Fergus is a senior financial trader and is responsible for the day to day running of the trading desk in Dublin.

Michael O’Loan, Head Dealer - London

Mike O’Loan spent more than 15 years dealing in the international Money Markets before moving into spread trading in 2004. He has a particular interest in off balance sheet derivatives and risk management products. He worked for Bank Brussels Lambert for 7 years and ran one of the dealing desks in their London trading room. Prior to that he traded Interest Rates and foreign exchange for Barclays Bank in both London and Tokyo.
